Tonya has been based in our Picton office for just a few weeks, where she specialises in residential real estate. While she might be new to Bayleys Marlborough, Tonya Cowlishaw is no stranger to the real estate business. She joins us following a successful placement with another firm, where she achieved twenty-one listings and seventeen sales in her first year.
Tonya loves meeting clients and guiding them through the process of selling. With a background in teaching and sports, she has a very specialist skillset. A winning combination of effective communication and competitive drive helps Tonya get the best sale price for your property.
Asked for her #1 piece of advice for vendors, Tonya shares that slow and steady wins the race! She says, “One should never rush the process of listing and selling a home. The marketing campaign has to be carefully considered, with the presentation of the property just right.” Tonya stresses that it is this considered and measured approach ensures that ensures a suitably impactful entrance to the market is guaranteed.
Tonya originally hails from the UK but lived in Auckland for ten years, before arriving in beautiful Marlborough. She has settled in very nicely and loves being near the sea. When she’s not selling properties, you will often find Tonya walking or running with her Labrador, Miley, and enjoying the exceptional outdoors lifestyle that Marlborough offers.
