Our long association with rural real estate in Marlborough means that we’re proud, once again, to be sponsors of the Marlborough A & P Show 2019. This year the show takes place on 8th and 9th November. The A & P Show is a long-standing tradition for the wider Marlborough community celebrating everything good about agriculture. It includes a showcase of the best livestock, horses and ponies, home cooking, preserves, craft, photography, sheep shearing, dog trials and wood chopping.
We thought we’d share three tips to help you make the most of your time at the Marlborough A & P Show 2019:
Planning makes perfect:
There’s so much going on at the Marlborough A & P Show 2019. The show attracts 8,000 – 10,000 people through the gate over the two days it runs. With outdoor exhibits, the best of competition, entertainment and numerous other attractions there’s a lot to see. So, we recommend a visit to the A & P show website where you can view schedules and timetables to help plan your day.
Be prepared:
We all know Marlborough is #brillianteveryday, and we’re hoping for a beautiful spring day so don’t forget your sunscreen! But be prepared for all eventualities, throw a few layers in your tote, so you don’t have to miss out on any of the fun!
Finally… Relax at the A & P Show 2019 with Bayleys Marlborough:
If you’re looking for somewhere to kick back with a cuppa and take a break from the excitement call by and see us.
We’ll have tea and coffee available throughout the day, and we’ll be firing up the barbecue around lunchtime on Friday, so you’ll be able to grab a sausage too! Also, we’ll have balloons and ice blocks for the kids!
Horsey Tails of Courage for the Kids:
We’ll be fundraising for Make-A-Wish New Zealand, selling copies of the ‘Ace A Horsey Tail of Courage’ book for $10. This charming children’s storybook has stunning illustrations and a witty, poignant storyline that tackles bullying. Reminding us that every child matters and that the first step to change for good is to talk about it.
We can’t wait to see you there!
